This section allows you to enter in geographical properties of the system. The image below is an example of a Line System Type Image of the Head Lost Module tab of the Conditions of Service Page.
The following properties can be defined:
Hd - Discharge height
Hs - Suction Height
Hp - Pump Height
Ps - Suction Pressure
Pd - Discharge Pressure
The image below is an example of a Dry Well System Type Image.
The following properties can be defined:
Hd - Discharge Height
Hs - Suction Height
Hv,d - Velocity Head @ Discharge
The image below is an example of a Submersible System Type Image.
The following properties can be defined:
Hd - Discharge height
Hs - Suction Height
Head loss, static head, total head and NPSHa will be calculated automatically based on the information above. The calculated values for head, NPSHa, and suction pressure (min/max) can be transferred to the Conditions of Service page by actioning the "Transfer to COS". This is only possible when the calculated head is greater than zero. The image below is an example of "Transfer to COS" is available because head is 100.0 ft.
