By clicking on the document icon (
) to the right of the words Commission
Worksheet in the left-hand pane of the Quote
Documents page, a user will have access to the Commission Worksheet
which will launch in the area that displays the Quote
Documents Status Page. It will look something like the picture below:
Commission Calculation
Commissions typically are for agents that helped sell the product(s) in the quote, and are usually based on where the product was sold to and where it will be installed. Since these locations could be different there may be multiple agent sections in the Commission Worksheet.
Commissions are based on Rates assigned to a specific dollar amount called the Break Currency. A rate applies to a currency amount up to and including its Break Currency. If the total quote amount is above the amount of the first Break Currency, the remaining balance is applied against the next Break Currency, and so on. Up to 3 Break Currencies are supported, with a final Rate assigned to any balance above the last Break Currency. Usually these Rates and Break Currencies have been determined by your company and reside in your company's database.
By editing the different Break Currency and Rate text fields, you can change the amount of the commission(s) to suit your needs.
Note: Depending upon your implementation and your individual user privileges, you may or may not have ability to change the values in the Break Currency or Rate text fields.

For certain administrators, this log file is available for troubleshooting as it downloads the xml used to generate the current page being viewed in the frame.

This is where you can view the status of every instance in the Quote Manger's Configurator Knowledge base. The attributes of an instance, whether or not it is compatible, and it's selection status can all be viewed.
Generate Commission Worksheet
Click this button to generate the PDF and RTF document versions of the Commission Worksheet. The Commission Worksheet can be included in a Complete Quote Package.
Reset to default values
Click this button to undo all changes that were manually entered into the various currency and percent fields.
