The efficiency / power adjustment table(s) contain corrections to the calculated efficiency, power, torque, or Karassik data. The corrections are dependent on rules specified in the table. The table offers flexibility in choosing the adjustment type and how their applied.
In the navigational tree, open the engineering data folder for the appropriate product line.
Right click on the Efficiency / Power adjustment folder .
Click to create a table.
Note: A new table will be placed in the Efficiency / Power adjustment folder. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to create the necessary tables.
Open the Efficiency adjustment folder from the navigation tree.
Select an efficiency adjustment table (Efficiency adjustment -1, - 2, - 3, etc.) from the navigational tree.
6. In the Adjust column, choose the data type that the adjustment will apply to. The choices are efficiency, power, torque, or Karassik.
Define the adjustment type (factor or value @ BEP) and how to apply (directly to all flows or multiply by %BEP flow).
Enter a row rule.
Enter a column rule or rules.
Insert the numbers of columns needed to populate your data.
Select or manually enter the rule criteria for the columns.
Enter data in the appropriate column-row cell relationship. See the below examples.
Important
:
Remember to assign
the correct units
of measure before entering
data.
Example 1 - Efficiency adjustment table - factor (pump size & stages as the rule criteria).
This image shows a populated efficiency adjustment table where the pump size and stages determine the adjustment factor. The efficiency adjustments will be applied direct to "all flows".
Example 2 - Efficiency adjustment table - factor (pump size & material as the rule criteria).
This image shows a populated efficiency adjustment table where the pump size and material determine the adjustment factor. The efficiency adjustments will be applied direct to "all flows".
Example 3 - Efficiency adjustment table - value (pump size, stages, & material as the rule criteria).
This image shows a populated efficiency adjustment table where the pump size, material & stages determine the adjustment value. The efficiency adjustments will be applied direct to "all flows".
