General Curve Table

The general curve table captures general curve information for a curve family. Data is populated based on each individual curve identified by a curve number. The curve identification number will be displayed in the Selector and used when assigning pump size to curve relationships. (Important: Any curve number can be assigned to any pump size and multiple curves can be assigned to a single pump size.) The general curve table's information controls how a curve acts as a whole; individual data point information is populated in the corresponding point data tables.

Note: Before entering any data make sure the units of measure are set correctly.

How do I populate the general curve table?
      1. In the navigation tree, open the Performance curves folder, then open a curve family folder.

      1. The General Curve Table will be displayed

      2. Enter a curve number, then populate the remaining fields (laterally) in the table. To learn more about each field, click on the column names below.

Hint: To avoid "keying in" repetitive data for each curve number, use copy and paste to populate the rows. Large amounts of data can be copied from Excel and pasted into the table.
