There are two types of product line options:
Pre-defined - these are typically used to drive Selector logic.
Knowledge engineer defined - these are created specially to drive data defined in "engineering data tables".
Product line options are created to specify construction features that affect hydraulic performance which must be identified in the selection process. These options are specific to the product line for which they are populated and follow a category-subcategory-options-default hierarchy. Options which are defined can also be included in compatibility rules to drive specific selections. To learn more about creating product line options, click the links below.
Note: At least one category, subcategory, and option must be defined for each product line. We suggest a construction category, material subcategory, and an option specifying the material.
