This section allows you too specify preferences for each application. The "General" section menu determines the values for items such as language, date formats, etc. The "Quote Manager" menu allows you to choose the default customer and quote currency. The "Configurator" menu allows you to choose whether you would like the Option Selection page displays in main window mode or popup window mode. The "Selector" menu allows you to choose the search result columns that will appear on the Selector's Search Results Page. The image below is an example of the General Preferences.

List separator (Excel CSV files)
This preference is specifically used with Item Summary functionality in the Quote Manager. The Windows "list separator" defined in regional settings is used by Excel. You can changed the List separator to either a comma (,) or a semicolon (;).
decimal symbol is comma (,) then select a semicolon(;) for list separator
decimal symbol is period(.) then select a semicolon(,) for list separator
If checked, a timeout warning will display. The time period in which the warning will display is defined in Session timeout warning period of User Preferences.

This option allows you to control how the Configurator is presented in the browser; either Main Window or Popup Window mode. See below for more information.
This mode allows you to see the Option Selection Page on the navigation bar. The image below is an example of an Option Selection Page in Main Window mode. On the left hand side of the page, the Scope List is located and the Category Options are located on the right hand side of the page.
This mode allows you to see the pop up window for the option selection process in the Internal Price Sheet. When this mode is selected, the Option Selection Page will not be listed on the Navigation Bar. Once all the Add Options have been submitted, you would be automatically taken back to the Internal Price Sheet. The image below is an example of a Popup window for the Internal Price Sheet. On the left hand side of the popup window, the Scope List is located and the Category Options are located on the right hand side of the popup window.
